Online casino play in Saskatchewan

In Saskatchewan, one online gambling site is legal: PlayNow.com. It is operated by SIGA, the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority. Players must be 19 or older. Private online casino sites also compete for players in the province. The provincial government calls them illegal platforms.

Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan, known as LGS, manages gaming. The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority, or SLGA, regulates it. Saskatchewan has nine permanent casinos: seven run by SIGA and two run by SaskGaming, Casino Regina and Casino Moose Jaw.

Self-exclusion means a person asks to be barred from gambling venues or sites for a set time. SaskGaming's Game Break is a voluntary self-exclusion from all casinos in the province, for 6 months to 5 years. It also covers PlayNow.com. SIGA Voluntary Self-Exclusion starts with a request at any SIGA casino, or by appointment at SIGA's Central Office in Saskatoon. The person picks a term from 6 months to 5 years, and it bars entry to all nine casinos in Saskatchewan.

No one can enrol another person. Neither program reaches a private online site, including the one behind this guide's paid links.

This guide is not a casino: it takes no bets and has no accounts. Paid links appear on the home page only, and each one is marked Ad. There are three: a button in the menu, a block just below the first screen and a block near the end of the page. All three lead to one private online casino partner, which pays the guide a commission. The partner can change.

That partner is not PlayNow.com. It holds no Saskatchewan licence. It has no connection with SIGA, Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan or any casino in this guide, including the one near Carlyle. Saskatchewan self-exclusion programs do not reach it.
